Dan Mitchell is a 3rd generation contractor and has been an active industry leader for over 25 years who has built hundreds of homes in East Tennessee, from Energy efficient Customs to Log and Timber as well as Modular, Panelized, ICF Concrete Homes.  His passion for the housing industry is unwavering. Dan is steadfast in his efforts to work with local, state and government officials to preserve and protect the integrity of the industry, while establishing effective working relationships with all entities. He meets and communicates with elected officials to discuss housing-related matters and is respected for his valuable industry knowledge. In 2006, Mr. Mitchell initiated the process to bring building codes to Sevier County. Mr. Mitchell has made contributions to BUILD-PAC to support legislative efforts at the national level and is a Capitol Club member. He has been a NAHB Director/Delegate since 2005 and attends most NAHB meetings in addition to several councils and committees.
