GENERAL OVERVIEW

Dispute Resolution Education & Experience

Beginning at an early age, shelter has been a fascination. Entering the housing industry in 1975 with a modular/mobile home manufacturer in Colorado, focus grew to the quality and cost effectiveness of housing using factory assembled building systems. This evolved further upon entering the log home industry two years later. Moving rapidly through responsibilities in design, I became responsible for expediting materials and production orders. Both opportunities were an education in building codes and standards at a time when enforcement of those codes and standards was growing nationwide. As a consultant, my reputation has been built on the ability to analyze individual projects, proprietary building systems, and specialty building products. Responsibility for responding to customer service calls has built an understanding and appreciation for conditions on the building site relating to those products. Protecting corporate interests also provided an expertise in investigation and solution of on-site concerns. Current activities on behalf of the Log Homes Council may present a conflict of interest in cases involving Log Homes Council Member Companies, limiting my ability to provide expert services.
