Work Experience

Upon Graduation from Law School I worked for Law Firms in the Greater Boston Massachusetts area including Powers and Hall, Scadden, Arps, Slate, Meahger and Flom and the Mirigliotta Law offices. I also began sitting in on Labor Arbitration matters with a former Law School Instructor and now Colleague Tom Peterson

Upon returning to upstate NY I worked in-house for a local company while continuing to work in ADR before taking on a lead position at a local college which allowed me to continue to practice Arbitration hearings across New York

State. I have instructed the following classes in my tenure at Bryant & Stratton College at the Syracuse-North Campus.

Introduction to Paralegal and Ethics, Contract Law, Torts and Civil Litigation, ADR, Criminal Law and Procedure, Law Office Management, Corporations and Partnership, Real Property, Legal Research II, and Domestic Relations. I also have worked for the Professional Skills Center instructing a class on how to take the New York State Notary Public Examination and a class (boot camp) on taking the National Association of Legal Assistants Certification of Paralegals examination. I have taken various courses for continued legal education over the years including managing an arbitration panel, commercial real estate closings, and legal ethics.

 WRITING

I have written decisions for my arbitration work that have been filed with the BBB and FINRA that I can produce after blacking out private information if the college would like to peruse my case writings. Some of the Decisions are confidential and covered by FINRA and SEC rules- but I would be willing to share in a hard copy what I am ethically allowed to share after editing. I also review college level law textbooks and my work has been published in the opening credits and foreword of the author(s)
