James J. Baranello has been a general contractor and a panelist for the American Arbitration Association specializing in construction arbitration for more than forty years. The cases involved Private, Commercial, Residential, Institutional and Public Works disputes ranging from $75,000 to $10,000,000. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Mr. Baranello also has vast experience in Commercial Property Management.

Leslie has worked in government compliance construction matters since 2002; NYC government since 1987. Ms. Cardona has recruited and instructed contractors and subcontractors in EEO issues.
She works as an ADR independent contractor. She is affiliated with CLUSTER as a mediator. Leslie attended CUNY Law School and has legal experience, primarily in governmental civil matters.

Philip W. Foltman has worked in commercial construction for over 20 years and has worked for both small and large firms, union and non-union, on a wide variety of projects.  Phil has extensive experience in construction management and design-build work.  Phil has a special interest in historical restorations and LEED projects.

Mr. Steven Kempisty has been a practicing arbitration judge for over seven years in New York State. Mr. Kempisty serves on the Syracuse City Court’s Arbitration program dealing with housing issues and matters of commercial small claims. Mr. Kempisty is also affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and is a college instructor in central New York.

Richard is a certified BPI building performance contractor, a HERS rater, NYS code official and licensed home inspector. His company performs energy audits on residential and commercial buildings, and installs energy efficient upgrades, and is a member of the United States Green Building Council. He has been an arbitrator for almost 10 years, and is an expert witness.

Frank Muller, a professional engineer and attorney spent his entire career in the construction industry. Prior to devoting his full time to serving as a mediator and arbitrator, he held positions in construction industry, starting as a field project engineer and superintendent and finally as a senior executive with national engineering and construction management Companies.

Nancy Sparrow works for Supreme Court, Commercial Part, in New York City mediating commercial, contractual,
construction and home-owner disputes, and brings years of significant experience. She teaches dispute resolution at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is an arbitrator for NASD and New York County Lawyers.

 

Robert L. Wilkinson is a construction manager and expert. He has spent his entire career in the construction industry. Prior to founding his Firm and serving as a mediator and arbitrator, he held positions in the construction industry, starting as an inspector and ultimately a Vice President of an international engineering and construction management Firm.
